Business Operations Managers
oversee a company’s activities and coordinate the essential functions needed to manage their workflow and achieve goals. Their primary duties include overseeing administrative employees, implementing communications procedures between departments and developing strategic initiatives to improve efficiency throughout the business. Ready to get started? See what it takes below. RESPONSIBILITIES Operational Strategy Development: Develop and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth. Performance Management: Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.). Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Financial Management: Manage organizational budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Analyze financial data and use it to improve profitability. Process Optimization: Streamline business processes to maximize efficiency and productivity. Implement process improvement initiatives. Stakeholder Liaison: Maintain relationships with partners/vendors/suppliers. Represent the company in negotiations or discussions with external parties. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment. This includes setting priorities, providing coaching and mentoring, and driving team performance. Project Management: Manage and oversee major projects, ensuring successful completion within set timelines and budgets. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement. Prepare detailed reports for senior management. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field Minimum of 10 years’ experience in operational management or a similar role Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g., supply chain, finance, customer service, etc.). Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics. Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM). NOTE: Due to Federal client requirements, only US Citizens can be considered, and candidates cannot have dual citizenship. Candidate must be able to obtain a security clearance.
