Job Description Summary:
This role will focus on driving revenue growth, forging new strategic partnerships, and managing a portfolio of existing Xoom partners based in the LATAM region. The candidate will work closely with key internal teams (Strategy, Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk/Compliance, etc.) to support and optimize existing partnerships and develop new business opportunities, including new crypto-related partnerships.
Your way to impact:
The position sits within the Blockchain, Crypto and Digital Currencies business unit and will work closely with the leadership team of the business to bring together the vision of an integrated business and team.
Your day to day:
Lead cross border distribution network & partnerships across X regions.
Lead crypto-remittance partnerships globally.
Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, channels, and opportunities to drive revenue growth and regional market expansion.
Identify expansion opportunities for traditional and crypto remittances.
Lead negotiations with external partners, engaging cross-functional support colleagues.
Deep business development, negotiation, legal and/or regulatory experience, especially in fintech, crypto, or cross-border payments.
Alignment of product and business levers (e.g., pricing & FX).
Execute on strategy and share a clear view in leadership forums.
Engage closely with product & engineering to drive the architectural runway.
Collaborate and influence product outcomes in a matrix organization.
Provide operational support to the Partner Relations Team as required.
What do you need to bring:
7+ years of relevant industry experience, particularly in the remittance and crypto industries.
Experience influencing and aligning partners to drive action and change.
Experience in a similar commercial role in a multinational organization.
Multi-disciplined leader with strong analytical, strategic, and operational acumen.
Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous priorities.
Knowledge of retail financial services, money transfers, cross-border payments, or global financial products.
Knowledge of retail crypto services, crypto transfers, stablecoins, or global crypto products.
Understanding of international payment processing and market participants.
Understanding of international crypto processing and market participants.
Experience with highly regulated industries and global regulatory expectations.
International experience in a culturally diverse environment.
Organized with excellent project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize conflicting needs.
Proven ability to develop effective relationships across organizations.
Fluent Spanish is a must.
PayPal is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on various factors including work location, and relevant skills and experience.
The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99,300 to $216,040.
For the majority of employees, PayPal's balanced hybrid work model offers 3 days in the office for effective in-person collaboration and 2 days at your choice of either the PayPal office or your home workspace.
