Role/Responsibilities/Qualifications
The ideal applicant will have acquisition and program management experience and ideally familiarity with the space Battle Management Command Control and Communications (BMC3) current or planned capabilities. The candidate will have a strong working knowledge of SSC, as well as experience working with International Partners (IP). The candidate should have both excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to take broad guidance and engage with partners to develop programmatic approaches. Responsibilities: Develop an overall strategic approach to addressing BMC3 capabilities with IPs Develop plans to operationalize strategic approaches into actionable engagements Support identification of projects, development of agreements and transition to Program Executive Officers (PEOs) for execution Interact with International Affairs (IA) Capabilities Division, PEOs, and interagency partners to ensure complete and informed strategies and plans Required Skills: BS degree 10+ years of experience in Acquisition support 5+ years of experience in program management U.S. Citizen with Top Secret Clearance and with the ability to obtain SCI level clearances as required Desired Skills & Experience: MS degree Experience with International Partners Space experience in acquisition Space Systems and Payloads Mission Partner/Stakeholder relations Location:
El Segundo, CA - Note: Position is Hybrid and may require travel to customer location on a quarterly or as needed basis. Travel:
Less than 20% of the time Compensation:
The typical pay range for this position is USD $165,000 - $220,000 per year, total package. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, retirement plan and other benefits (all included as part of package). Deliverable(s)
Deliverables could be in the format of a report, software file, briefing, spreadsheet, or other document as directed by the Government, using government approved and/or mandated systems/software and processes governed by guidance/instructions/policy or direction. The nature of this work will, at times, require quick responses to stringent deadlines and always in a high quality, professional manner.
