Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a current CDA/ RDA license and EDDA certification, and excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Room, equipment & instrument preparation
- Seat and prepare patient for care
- Explain scheduled treatment, obtain consent forms, and deliver post-op instructions
- Evaluate and document vital signs for patients and update medical records
- Chair-side assisting, including suctioning; 4-handed dentistry
- Nitrous administration and monitoring
- Charting and note-taking
- Ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure or examination
- Coordinate follow-up appointments, post-ops, and homecare for patients
- Specialty referrals and prescription care
- Provide exceptional patient care and help the team stay on time
- Lab case management - packing, scheduling courier pick-up, lab slips and receipt/check-in case
- Ensure all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations are met by disinfecting
- and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
- Proper maintenance of biohazards, sterilizers, amalgam separators, waterlines, and handpieces
- X-ray unit inspections (annually)
- Maintain MSDS and Sterilization Reports
- Inventory, ordering, stocking and budgeting
Qualifications
- OSHA/HIPAA knowledge
- Current BLS/CPR certification is required
- Able to take X-rays (digital) including pano, bitewings, vertical bitewings, FMX, and single PAs
- Able to take and pour impressions and trim/prepare bite guard/whitening tray fabrication
- Coronal polishing, flossing, fluoride application, sealants, and hygiene instructions
- Fabrication and placement of temporary crowns
- Permanent crown seats,
- Placement of composite restorations
- Denture and Partial Denture impressions, relines & adjustments
- Knowledge of general dentistry, including clear aligners and major restorative
- Familiar with surgical and endodontic procedures, including implants and molar endo
- Experience with dental software, updating patient histories, and computer skills are needed
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients and supervisors
Compensation
$26-32 hourly BOE
