Position Title: Janitor (Full-time)
Location: 6601 Grandview Dr. Indianapolis, Indiana
Reports To: Executive Director
Salary:  $16.00 per hour

Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various cleaning and light maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, healthy, clean, and pleasant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, and windows.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Refill soap dispensers, paper towels, and other necessary supplies, as needed
• Clean and maintain classrooms and common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and break room.
• Perform minor repairs and report major maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored safely.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Must be able to lift and move heavy objects.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills.
