The project:
Mace is seeking a full-time Associate Director of Project Controls for life science and industrial manufacturing projects to work directly with our clients on capital projects.

You’ll be responsible for:
Absorbing and evaluating large amounts of cost and schedule information/data quickly to highlight relevant trends and issues to the project team and key stakeholders.
Managing, monitoring, and coordinating all key aspects of project controls, including the project schedule, costs, reporting, quality, and logistics.
Managing and growing cost/schedule/contract/risk management teams or accounts.
Establishing key relationships with the client and other key stakeholders.
Directing project controls teams throughout complex projects.
Implementing an appropriate and effective project controls framework.
Identifying project risks, developing risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implementing action plans.
Managing the procurement process, ensuring that all stages including pre-qualification, enquiry, evaluation, selection, and contract preparation are performed effectively.
Day-to-day cost management of medium-large scale client projects including procurement, pay requests, change management, and cost reporting.
Establishing and preparing formal reporting arrangements on project controls for the client.
Establishing and monitoring appropriate project operating procedures and systems.
Supervising, monitoring, and reporting progress against the expectations of contracts from all perspectives.
Coordinating and promoting teamwork between all project stakeholders.
Providing value engineering and lifecycle costing/asset management.
Preparing scope of works, including identification of resource requirements, supporting the cost estimation and budget reviews.
Proactively developing a plan for the timely closeout and practical completion of the works.
You’ll need to have:
Awareness of current methodologies and tools to manage/analyse develop planning/schedule information related to projects (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6).
