Imperial Industries is hiring: Janitor/Custodian - 1st Shift in Rothschild

Position Description:
This position is responsible for performing general laborer duties within the plant and/or offices (i.e. empty garbage, sweep floors, stock shelves, clean windows, etc.)   Will also operate electric walk-behind sweeper and vacuums. The ability to work well with others is a must.  Natural motivation, positive attitude/aptitude and an outstanding attention to detail are recommended.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general job tasks including: stock shelves, paper towel dispensers, and toilet paper; sweep and clean floors.
• Makes sure that the buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe.
• Maintain equipment and perform daily housekeeping.
• Follow strict safety regulations such as wearing personal protective equipment where needed.
• Monitor equipment for signs of wear or malfunction.
• Perform all other duties assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Time management skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to work in a team environment and/or on an individual basis.
• Flexible and capable of successfully performing in a fast-paced environment.
