Responsibilities & Qualifications:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead business development and capture activities for USAF BIM and other programs.

Support proposal writing, win theme development, and solution crafting.

Ability to transition into IDIQ level Program Management role upon award of USAF BIM TOs.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Understand USAF BIM competitive landscapes, customer trends, and vendor relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 15 years of business development and IT management experience in USAF AFLCMC HNI programs.

Well-established networks in the USAF AFLCMC HNI community.

Successful track record of winning competitive bids in government contracting.

Leadership experience with ability to coach and develop team members.

Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work effectively in teams.

Superior interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.

Bachelor's degree or commensurate documented experience required.

Ability to obtain and maintain Active Top-Secret Clearance.

Overview:

TekSynap is seeking a

Director of Business Development

to lead our efforts on the United States Air Force (USAF) Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract and associated Task Order proposals. This strategic IDIQ focuses on modernizing USAF base infrastructure, including IT systems, communications networks, and facility management technologies. The ideal candidate is a seasoned business development executive with extensive federal contracting experience, particularly in defense and infrastructure projects. They must possess superior professional skills, a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure modernization's technical and business aspects, and a collaborative leadership style. Key responsibilities include developing capture strategies, building relationships with USAF stakeholders and industry partners, analyzing customer trends, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in achieving business unit financial targets through strategic captures and wins, positioning TekSynap as a key player in this long-term USAF modernization initiative.
