POSITION OVERVIEW
Delivers supplies or large equipment to job site locations and other delivery locations in accordance with an established schedule utilizing a company vehicle along with operates large equipment to support on-site and project needs
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drives a company motor vehicle (CMV) 26,001 + pounds to customer businesses and residences to deliver materials or equipment according to established procedures
- Operates large equipment, including earth movers, excavators, and other equipment as needed
- Maintains and services large equipment, including minor equipment repairs as necessary
- Interacts professionally with customers and the general public when delivering products and equipment to customers' site locations
- Supports landscape operations as necessary
- Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment
- Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices
- Position may perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Must be 21 years of age to drive company vehicles.
- Reliability working very early
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks
- Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors
- Ability to problem solve and exhibit flexibility due to impacted routes and schedules
