Heavy Equipment Technician Job at Tri-County Service in Kent

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic with expertise in hydraulic systems, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical repair. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and more.
• Ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime.
• Work closely with the team to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance (Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be willing to travel on occasion to preform road calls.
