Oct 30, 2024 Who We Are EvolveImmune Therapeutics is a next-generation, development-stage immune-oncology company which is developing novel trispecific T cell engagers with integrated CD2 costimulation to optimize anti-tumor immunity to overcome the therapeutic challenges of cancer cell resistance. Our lead program based on our EVOLVE therapeutic platform will enter the clinic in 2025. We conduct our R&D, including internal protein engineering and biotherapeutics discovery, immunobiology, and translational sciences, at our dedicated, state-of-the-art laboratories located in Branford, CT. The Role The company is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial immunologist to lead the development and implementation of translational and biomarker strategies for our rapidly advancing EVOLVE project portfolio. The successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to conceptualize, and drive differentiated approaches to support early clinical development for innovative immune-oncology mechanisms-of-action. Strong collaboration and communication skills, together with a track record of scientific and project achievements in biopharma, are required. Responsibilities · Define and execute translational and biomarker strategies to support nonclinical and early clinical development of EvolveImmune’s growing project pipeline. · Oversee the design and implementation of clinical and pharmacodynamic biomarker assay development and validation, including establishing an external CRO/collaborator network. · Lead efforts on data generation, analysis, interpretation and communication of these data to internal and external stakeholders. · Provide scientific input for IND preparations and other regulatory documents, early clinical development plans, and clinical study reports. · Partner with the Immunobiology, Biotherapeutics and Development teams to facilitate the transfer of information and assays to clinical ‘fit for purpose’ validation. · Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions, including INDs. · Mentor our scientific team and support individual career development for team members. Contribute to our company’s communication strategy to drive the visibility and recognition of our scientific strategy and company milestones in presentations to our Board of Directors, investors, collaboration partners, and through presentations at external scientific conferences. · Provide expert opinions and assessment of external technologies relevant to EvolveImmune’s scientific needs. · Work with project management to develop timelines and budgets, and ensure deliverables are achieved in a timely fashion. · Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols. Qualifications · PhD in Immunology, Cancer Immunology or related field with postdoctoral experience and 8+ years of industry experience. · Experience in translational and biomarker science, including clinical biomarker assay development, implementation and data analysis. · Experience in companion diagnostic development is a plus. · Ability to plan, organize, troubleshoot, interpret and present work. · Proven ability to manage complex projects to achieve milestones in a timely manner, including collaborations with external investigators and CROs. · Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. · Track record of success as defined by publication, patent and/or drug development record.
