The Department of Special Education, Language, and Literacy is seeking a Project Director to oversee the creation and growth of a new Assistive Technology Center to ensure that students with disabilities throughout the state of New Jersey gain access to Assistive Technology to achieve their academic goals. The Project Director is responsible for the Assistant Technology Center program execution and planning, as well as overseeing all aspects of the Center. The Project Director reports to the TCNJ Faculty Project PIs. Main Responsibilities: Set and execute goals for the Assistive Technology Center Provide high quality professional development in the areas of assistive technology Collaborate with NJ local school districts to provide information, resources and technical assistance Work closely with Principal Investigators and Faculty Advisor to make fiscally responsible budget decisions Oversee the AT Center staff, consultants, student workers and inventory Required Qualifications: Several Years of experience within the field of Assistive Technology Masters Degree or higher Demonstrated ability to develop, create, supervise, outreach Persons with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations in order to perform the essential functions of the position.
