Job Summary
We are seeking a Master Carpenter to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using the carpenter’s hand and power tools. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work. Must have vast experience in cabinetry and fine furniture fabrication. With exceptional attention to detail and building quality at production speeds.

Responsibilities
As a master carpenter, your job duties include performing a wide range of construction work, overseeing journeymen carpenters and assistants, and ensuring that your crews follow all rules and health and safety regulations on the job site. The career requires strong leadership, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed
- Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters
- Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals
- Organize and work with th carpentry team to meet goals.
Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years as a Master Carpenter
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Ability to read and take action on blueprints
- Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
