About the Opportunity

The Manager, Master Data Management will be part of the enterprise Master Data Governance organization responsible for Master Data strategy and ongoing governance, in addition to being part of the master data workstream supporting global Oracle ERP implementation. This position manages the Master Data Analysts responsible for the maintenance of master data and is responsible for providing direction to them. This role will work closely with IS counterparts and cross functional teams to build effective data governance for Item, Customer and Supplier data and will have significant interaction with Business stakeholders. Actively participate in team and project meetings, and lead cross-functional working sessions as needed.

Salary Range estimated for the role: $87,522 to $135,900 USD.

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional and cross-Business Unit representatives to develop master data rules, standards and allowable values for master data attributes for key data domains (Item, Customer, Supplier, Grower, Warehouse, etc.)
  • Oversee day to day Master Data Governance activities. Work with other parts of Master Data center of excellence team to identify areas needed intervention, standardization, or changes to existing processes.
  • Participate in process and data design sessions as part of global ERP implementation program as an enterprise master data governance representative as needed.
  • Leverage and share best practices to facilitate cross-functional data design sessions with the intent of driving standardization of attributes and harmonization of values.
  • Manage Data Quality Reporting: Develop and monitor data quality metrics; share information with stakeholders; identify areas for improvement and help to implement suggested improvements. Increase organizational awareness of data quality and drive adoption of data controls.
  • Responsible for usability and quality of ERP master data. Lead periodic reviews of data to identify data cleansing needs, including records to be inactivated. Work with business stakeholders and master data stewards to keep data up to date.
