Overview:
Quantum Research International, Inc. (Quantum) is a certified DoD Contractor providing services and products to US/Allied governments and industry in the following main areas: (1) Cybersecurity, High Performance Computing Systems, Cloud Services and Systems; (2) Space and Ground Support Systems; (3) Aviation Systems; (4) Missile Systems; (5) Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning Systems and Experimentation/Training; and (6) Audio Visual Systems and Services. Mission:
As an Agile Scrum Master at Quantum Research Intl, you will lead and coach our Agile teams in implementing and adhering to Scrum practices. You will be responsible for ensuring our teams are working efficiently, addressing any impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum practices and principles.
- Collaborate with product owners to prioritize and manage product backlogs.
- Track and report on project progress using Jira and Confluence.
- Identify and remove/resolve impediments that block the team's progress.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and team collaboration.
- Other duties as assigned that relate to the support and mission of contract and IT functional areas
Required Skills and Quantifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, prefer 3 years plus
- Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not and fill gaps in the scrum
- Strong proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certification such as CSM (Certified Scrum Master) or PSM (Professional Scrum Master) is preferred.
