Early Morning Before School Program Director

School's Out is an afterschool and summer camp program that operates within the South Burlington school district. We currently provide after-school programs at the three elementary schools, the middle school, and a full day Early Education program. We are in the process of expanding and will be offering a new early morning, before school, program at the three elementary schools.

We are currently seeking the right person to work with children at one of our new early morning, before school, programs. Our programs operate out of the South Burlington elementary schools and serve children between the ages of 5 and 11. The hours of operation are 6:45 - 8:15 am Monday through Friday.

Job duties include:

Planning and facilitation of daily recreational and educational activities

Supervision of children

Supervision and training of staff

The director must be available to work 6:45 am - 8:15 am Monday through Friday.

Requirements:

Experience managing staff and large groups of children in an educational or recreational setting

Associates Degree or higher

At least 10 months direct work experience with school age children

Maturity, enthusiasm and commitment needed to work with children 5 days a week

Strong leadership skills

If you are looking for additional hours, other roles are available during the school day as well as with the School's Out afterschool programs.
