Title: Business Analyst

Location: Los Angeles, CA (West Los Angeles)

Summary:

Marcum Search is partnered with our distinguished law firm client in the search for a Business Analyst. We are seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst with 3+ years of experience with robust skills in Power BI, MS-SQL, and Aderant. This role works in a hybrid setting and is local to the West Los Angeles area. Salary range is $110K-$125K.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data from company databases.

· Utilize company specific system and MS-SQL to extract, transform, and load data as required.

· Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and prepare reports associated with firm statistics.

· Create insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize key metrics and trends.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project objectives.

· Conduct thorough data analysis to identify opportunities for business process improvement.

· Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

· Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Business Analyst.

· Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, and Aderant systems (MS-SQL preferred).

· Hands-on experience with financial legal software and familiarity with legal industry processes (preferred but not required).

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.

Preferred Skills:

· Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or related field.

· Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
