Location: Washington, DC
The candidate will need to attend and participate in on-site meetings from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Eastern Time). 4 days a week on site.
Duration: 12 month contract, with possible extension
W-2 or 1099

The DNA Group is seeking a Senior Business Analyst - Process Consultant
This role involves supporting the development of a new technology platform as part of implementing a comprehensive child welfare information system (CCWIS) for the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). The Senior Business Analyst will assess current systems and processes, gather and document requirements, and create process flows, user stories, and wireframes for the future platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technology implementation, strong analytical capabilities, and a collaborative approach to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Engage with clients to identify and clarify complex business needs.
- Develop functional specifications and designs for necessary customizations.
- Document current processes while designing improved workflows for future operations.
- Create wireframes to outline user interactions with the platform.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development efforts.
- Support the creation of test scenarios to validate system performance.
- Assist in training and onboarding users during rollout phases.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure proposed solutions are effective and practical.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years’ experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with all levels of personnel
- Strong client-service orientation and focus
- Thorough attention to detail and a strong desire to deliver the highest quality solutions
- Experience across a variety of industries

- Business Analyst/Process Consultant: 6-10 years (Required)
- User Requirements/User Stories/Acceptance Criteria: 6 years (Required)
- Wireframes/Mockups: 2 years (Required)
- Communication Skills: 6 years (Required)
- Jira/Microsoft ADO: 1 year (Highly Desired)
- Figma or Similar Tools: 1 year (Highly Desired)
- Process Diagram Tools: 1 year (Highly Desired)
- 4 Days Onsite (Required)
