Overview
As a Bussiness Analyst, you will be the key support for program managers to ensure that programs receive, analyze, and integrate performance data insights to maximize the effectiveness of a program.
Responsibilities
Responsible for developing strategies that support business need for efficient and effective use of best practices. Identify requirements, approach, solutions, costs, risks and options to address business need. Lead implementation activities of an initiative, application or feature set.
Responsible for project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation and training.
Able to priorities initiatives by assessing business value for effort and develop options.
Collaborates with vendor to understand product direction, release strategy, and timeframe.
Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures and products.
Demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions on data and information.
Have accountability over gathering critical program data through various areas, including customer feedback, creating and tracking dashboards-based metrics, and monthly reports from both 3rd party implementers and internal teams.
Have accountability over ensuring that trends in this data are correctly reported to both managers and contractors.
Outside of data needs, this position will the crucial to the success of assigned programs by supplying Advisors and Senior Advisors with meeting materials based on synthesized insights, as well as taking diligent notes during meetings and summarizing takeaways.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Attributes
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Possesses 5 or more years of project support or data analytics experience.
Intermediate to Expert proficiency in PowerBI, Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, and/or other data analytical and visualization tools. Ability to perform detailed analytics by gathering, interpreting, cleansing, and organizing large and complex data sets to inform program effectiveness and efficiency.
Possess five to seven years of experience in the field of analysis.
Desired Skills/Attributes
5+ years' experience with business analysis and extensive analytical skills including internal controls and contract management
5+ years' experience supporting process improvements and maintaining service level agreements
Experience providing exceptional service to internal and external customers and stakeholders.
Capable of delivering timely and error-free execution of data analysis with minimal support
Capable of drawing correct conclusions by applying analytic results to business situations
Consistently able to synthesize and recommend actionable solutions for own workstream(s)
Detail-oriented and high level of organization
Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
Strong problem-solving skills with hypothesis driven approach.
Working knowledge of IOU-led Energy Efficiency programs, policies, and methodologies
Advanced proficiency with data analysis and performance management
Experience with developing and executing program implementation workplans.
Capable of using simple, clear, and high-impact communications materials to enhance effectiveness of communication
Experience in working with cross-functional project teams
Experience with synthesizing data and presenting insights and trends to supervisors and senior stakeholders
Strong interpersonal communication skills and desire to build collaborative partnerships across internal functions.

Wage Data Per State Requirements
Salary range for this position is $63,000.00 - $79,000.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill, education, experience, and working environment.
