SENIOR DIRECTOR
to join our
CORPORATE STRATEGY
team. This role is located in
NEW YORK, NY - HYBRID .
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Partner with the executive team to enable organic growth and drive BNY’s long-term strategic priorities. Translate business problems into structured projects that you will lead in end-to-end delivery from hypothesis development to final conclusions. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by fostering engagement and translating strategic recommendations into execution-oriented outcomes. Leverage well-honed advisory skills to work with stakeholders to elicit information, think objectively and analytically, and influence end results positively.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: 15+ years of related experience; must have proven track record working at a global management consulting organization and exposure to broad financial services and/or industries experiencing rapid transformation. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Experience in working with executive committee members and leading/managing high-performing, strategically minded teams. History of leading and managing teams to solve high-impact problems and develop actionable, complete solutions for the most challenging issues facing the Bank. Experience fostering a positive, collegiate and inclusive team environment for junior colleagues. Intellectual curiosity with a proactive mindset, interested in shaping the future of financial services through one of its major stakeholders. Capacity to handle multiple simultaneous projects and remain stoic in the face of uncertainty. A global mindset and experience working across a diverse set of environments.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $200,000 and $300,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
