Director, US Commercial Strategy, Long Acting Injectables (LAI)
to lead development of US strategies and build new capabilities to make long-acting treatment standard of care in HIV prevention and treatment. This role will lead across a matrix of functions (market access, sales, medical, operations, legal, compliance, training) and cross-functional partnership will be critical to success. Based in Raleigh-Durham, NC, the role will report to the Sr Director, US Commercial Strategy, Long Acting Injectables (LAI). This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Enable appropriate interventions that will drive adoption and depth of prescribing, while ensuring we are mitigating risk and doing the right thing, consistently with our values. Identify key levers that could impact P&L of our long-acting medicines and create business cases to assess potential impact in competitive environment. Prioritize the solutions and tactics needed today and unite stakeholders across the matrix to work with urgency to deliver the work that will have the greatest impact. Develop strategic growth initiatives and drive cross functional collaboration to build new capabilities. Develop strategies for non-traditional commercial approaches, including public health partnerships and/or innovative approaches to activating HCPs and consumers. Address market challenges as we are moving a largely oral category to injectables (implementation barriers, acquisition, medical and pharmacy benefit etc.) Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s Degree & 5 plus years of commercial pharmaceutical experience including 3 plus years of marketing (consumer, HCP, and/or payer) analytics or commercial operations experience. Experience Leading cross functional teams and projects in support of Senior Leadership. Experience creating solutions for customer acquisition and implementation of injectables. Project Management experience. Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: MBA or Masters Degree in relevant disciplines. 3 plus years of experience managing a team. Demonstrated ability to lead in ambiguity and influence cross functional teams to collaboratively solve complex commercialization problems. Knowledge and practical application of compliance acumen.
