Redwood Strategy Group, Inc. (RSG) is collecting resumes for a future opportunity for a Business Process Analyst to join their team.
In this position, the Business Process Analyst will be an integral part of building a new financial management tool to replace the client’s existing program. Overall job responsibility is to understand what needs to be built, work with the client to gather the requirements, partner with the technical team to have the tool built, and then provide ongoing support in ways of training and understanding. The Business Process Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements for the proposed Data Governance, Management and Analytics (DGMA) Program, conduct research and analysis to support procurement requirements, and create documents to support the assigned tasks. This position is a hybrid position working 2 days/week in the office with the other days being remote.
Requirements- Bachelor of Science, Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications;
- Experience with federal financial management or federal accounting. Specifically with the ability to extract financial transactions from the financial system based on business requirements.
- Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Level 4 clearance
- Previous JIRA experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and projects with strong verbal, written, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
- Work closely with the Government to identify and analyze core business processes and workflow
- Document processes and workflows
- Develop clear and detailed process maps and business requirements
- Identify issues and risks
- Provide short and long-range organizational planning
- Organize with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent judgment, wisdom, common sense, and initiative
- Exercise extreme discretion when dealing with the public and employees on sensitive or confidential matters
- Gather pertinent facts, make thorough analyses, and arrive at sound conclusions
- Report information in clear, complete, and logical form
- Conduct organizational and procedural studies and prepare comprehensive reports
- Properly interpret and make recommendations in accordance with laws, regulations, and policies
- Analyze information and statistical data from multiple sources
- Plan and present clear, concise, and effective presentations using non-technical language
- Participate in process mapping and business process re-engineering
- Extensively analyze business processes and workflows
- Other related duties as assigned by PM.
