Position Summary: EasyPower is looking for an electrical power system engineer to join their team as a senior product manager to develop software for designing, modeling and analyzing electrical distribution systems. A Senior Product Manager has a business-orientation and is responsible for the development and implementation of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. They maintain close relationships with the market (customers, evaluators, and potentials) for awareness of market needs. This includes identification of appropriate markets and development of effective marketing strategies and tactics for reaching them. This person is involved through all stages of a product lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Drive continual product improvements and deliver results that exceed customer expectations.
Engage the industry as a Bentley representative.
Gather and analyze market data (users, prospects, competitors) as input into product planning.
Work across the organization to develop clear and compelling value propositions at the beginning of the development process.
Define user personas and work with UX and Development teams to complete technology assessment and direction.
Build and manage the product backlog with the cross-functional team.
Work directly with the Development team to ensure execution of the product plan.
Define, monitor, and analyze metrics for product functionalities and feed learnings back into product development process.
Support the Product Marketing team to deliver product positioning and content.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
10 years industry experience in electrical engineering and power distribution systems.
Minimum 3 years experience with EasyPower or other related modeling, design and analysis software.
Product Management and/or Software Development experience.
Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong presentation skills.
