Information Technology Business System Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for working with key project personnel to perform technical and business requirements gathering and developing business process flows for project workstreams such as barcoding and document management processes.
This individual will be responsible for working across the project team to ensure we have captured the end-to-end requirements and assist with product selection analysis, business impact analysis, integration data mapping, testing and implementation support.
A qualified consultant will have experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management and Workflow Management projects, and have functional knowledge of software in these categories.
Hybrid position to Wall, NJ and only open for US Citizens or GC holders
Long term contract through end of 2025
Experience:
• 2- 3 years of experience in Business Process Analysis, Process Mapping Business Process Modeling using technology and tools to define process functionality from End to End
• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel self-starter, detail oriented, driven individual with an overall team player attitude
• Experience with business process modeling
• Experience with Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience in using Visio tool to detail work-flow processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel
• Experience implementing enterprise document management, bar coding solutions preferred
• Six Sigma certification or other related business analysis education strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines with the ability to work under pressure
• Preferred, but not required, knowledge and understanding of the utility industry
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a Business-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the project managers, functional and technical leads to support the implementation of the barcoding and document solutions required as part of the project within the timeframes in the project plan
• Create and maintain functional and technical requirement documentation, user stories and process flows
• Participate in product selection process by organizing requirements and summarizing product comparisons to enable faster decision making
• Provide input and updates to the integrated project plan
• Work with the business leads and QA teams to develop test scenarios and test cases related to these solutions and support test execution
• Attend the regularly scheduled stand-up meetings, providing status, and updating RAID items as needed.
• Assist with troubleshooting issues, working with technical teams and/or vendor resources throughout the SDLC
