Role Summary
The Program Leader & Facilitator will lead the overall vision (purpose, core convictions, objectives, and strategic initiatives) of Lives of Legacy. This role will be the primary leader of the ministry and its day-to-day programs and operations, providing oversight that upholds the mission and vision while maximizing efficiency and effectiveness.

The person in this role must be driven by the gospel of Jesus Christ, knowing that the gospel is the only solution to a broken world and the only true agent of change. This person must be spiritually mature, teachable, trustworthy, humble, and able to lead. They must possess a desire for excellence, big-picture thinking, vision-casting, and an ability to manage a wide variety of responsibilities. Previous leadership experience in ministry or business is preferred.
Responsibilities
Vision and Organizational Leadership
Create and cast the vision of Lives of Legacy in all initiatives
Establish and maintain policies and procedures for all ministry areas (finance and donors, volunteers, human resources, administration, and operations)
Create and implement metrics and rhythms of monitoring and evaluating all ministry areas to ensure mission and vision are fulfilled (finance and donors, volunteers, human resources, administration, and operations)
Oversee and lead all communication initiatives between all staff, Board of Directors, volunteers, strategic partnerships, and program participants
Provide consistent updates to Board of Directors concerning programming, staff, volunteers, and any other ministry initiatives
Develop and continually refine organizational structure to optimize decision-making, efficiency, communication, team-building, and unity
Internal Leadership
Oversee staff team - developing, exhorting, and mentoring staff in ways that promote continually improved programming, operations, and administration
Lead staff meetings - instilling a consistently high level of focus, excellence, and motivation
Lead all Annual and Semi-annual employee evaluations
Establish rhythms for regular one-on-one coaching with all staff to disciple, encourage, and provide accountability
Identify staffing needs corresponding to growing and/or changing needs in the ministry
Assist all staff members in developing professional and personal ministry dreams and goals that foster growth and development
Handle all matters of human resources as they arise (conflicts and resolution, insubordination and improvement plans, etc.)
Collaborate with Board of Directors to hire and release employees as necessary to build a dynamic team
Care for staff and maintain awareness of their personal health and family welfare
Oversee volunteer initiatives with Program Leader & Facilitator - developing, exhorting, and training volunteers in ways that promote continually improved programming
External Leadership
Establish strategic partnerships with outside organizations to grow the ministry’s influence
Oversee donor relations
Rhythms for Work & Rest
Daily/Weekly office hours
Participation in scheduled programs, some of which may occur in the evening (as needed, as directed, or as otherwise chosen)
Participation in scheduled meetings, some of which may occur early morning or evening
Seasonal participation in special programs, events, or meetings
Holidays off, sick time as requested, and vacation time per policy

This evaluation will be held with Board of Directors and focus on both reviewing the previous year as well as establishing goals and objectives for the coming year.
Semi-annual Check In Evaluation
July of each year, to review first 6 months of current year
This evaluation will be held with Board of Directors, and review progress on goals and objectives to-date, and re-establish any such goals and objectives for the remainder of the year.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
