Vice President of Commercial Strategy-CALA Role Overview: Reporting to the EVP of Sales and EVP of Revenue, the Vice President of Commercial Strategy (CALA) is a key leader within Remington’s Commercial Strategy Team, tasked with developing and executing a cohesive commercial strategy that aligns sales, digital marketing, eCommerce, and revenue management to optimize revenue, market share, and profitability across the portfolio. This role is particularly essential in supporting the company’s expansion in CALA (Caribbean and Latin America), with 4 current hotels and additional properties in the pipeline. The VP of Commercial Strategy will design and lead integrated commercial initiatives targeting Group, Business Travel, Contract, and Catering segments, while showcasing Remington’s value to prospective ownership clients as a premier third-party management company. This role requires a strategic, data-driven leader with a deep understanding of commercial strategy within the hospitality industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in sales, digital marketing, eCommerce, and revenue management to position Remington as a leader in commercial strategy, especially in the expanding CALA market. Key Responsibilities: Commercial Strategy Development & Execution:

Formulate and execute a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns all sales, digital marketing, eCommerce, and revenue management efforts to drive optimal performance across the portfolio. Tailor initiatives to support and grow Remington’s footprint, particularly in the CALA region. Revenue Optimization & Performance Metrics:

Define, implement, and monitor KPIs that link top-line revenue goals with profitability targets (NOI), using data-driven insights to optimize revenue across segments and distribution channels. Ensure timely and transparent reporting to ownership groups. Team Leadership & Commercial Alignment:

Lead a cross-functional team of commercial strategy professionals, including Divisional VPs of Sales, digital marketing experts, and revenue managers. Drive cohesion across these areas, focusing on talent development, strategic alignment, and high performance. Brand Positioning & Market Share Growth:

Leverage insights from digital marketing and eCommerce to improve brand positioning and increase direct bookings. Enhance Remington’s market share by deploying innovative commercial strategies that differentiate the brand in a competitive market. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

Directly engage with clients, asset managers, and ownership groups to strengthen relationships, reinforce Remington’s strategic value, and support client retention and loyalty. Act as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle. Business Development & Market Expansion:

Partner with the Business Development team to present Remington’s integrated commercial strategy—including its sales, digital marketing, and revenue capabilities—in RFPs, pitch meetings, and market expansion efforts. Demonstrate the value of Remington’s commercial approach to prospective ownership clients. Digital & eCommerce Innovation:

Oversee and refine digital marketing and eCommerce initiatives to drive website traffic, enhance customer engagement, and improve conversion. Manage vendor relationships to ensure innovative solutions maximize ROI across digital and eCommerce channels. Vendor & Partner Collaboration:

Cultivate and manage relationships with third-party vendors, digital platforms, and technology partners to enhance Remington’s commercial toolkit. Evaluate and implement new resources that support sales, revenue, and digital growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a senior executive in a commercial strategy role encompassing Sales, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, and/or eCommerce, preferably within a multi-brand hotel management company. Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market share. Strategic leadership, analytical proficiency, and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and able to travel up to 60%. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish

is required due to the role’s focus on the CALA region.
