The Opportunity: As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using Microsoft Office to help you tell a realistic story. You’ll listen to client challenges, identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a safe space for recommendations that will make a lasting, real-world impact. You should be comfortable with exercising initiative and problem solving to achieve preferred results, adept at accomplishing measurable results while leading large organizations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You'll possess a comprehensive background in leadership development, exercise planning, and program and project management derived from conducting domestic and global operations. As a leader in the firm’s Global Defense, you’ll have the chance to work cross-functionally with wargame analysts, operations researchers, and senior leadership on projects that are making an impact on critical missions. You’ll share your expertise and collaborate with the industry’s best programs like Exercise Design, and Event Planning and Facilitation. This position will require travel of up to 20% of the time. You Have: 5+ years of experience with planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program 5+ years of experience with the Five Stages of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) 5+ years of experience with the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP), Army Design Methodology (ADM), or Joint Planning Process (JPP) Knowledge of Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level Knowledge of Theater Exercise Programs in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to increase US Army readiness to conduct Decisive Action in support of Unified Land Operations, improve Joint and Inter Agency warfighting proficiency, build allied and partner capacity, and improve allied and partner interoperability Ability to take an exercise from the concept phase, plan the exercise, and prepare and provide a senior-level concept of operation brief Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree Nice If You Have: 8+ years of experience at the brigade level or above 5+ years of experience with Stryker Operations Experience with Maritime or Air Operations Experience with supporting an exercise budget with multiple funding streams Experience with using Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Office 365 Knowledge of weapon systems Knowledge of the aspects of Multi-Domain Operations Possession of excellent time management and organizational leadership skills Master’s degree Command and General Staff College Graduate Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
