InTown Suites, a leading player in the extended stay accommodations industry with 196 hotels across 22 states, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to lead our operational strategy. As the Vice President of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's future, fostering an environment of growth, efficiency, and excellence. Position Summary: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Operations will provide visionary leadership, expert management, and a results-oriented approach to ensure InTown Suites continues to excel in the extended stay accommodations sector. You will champion our corporate culture, lead a diverse team, and collaborate with department heads to enhance our operations across all properties. Key Responsibilities:

Cultural Champion: Embody and promote InTown Suites' Mission, Vision, and Values in all decisions and actions. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic guidance to the operations team (Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Operations Managers, General Managers, and property staff) to achieve companywide goals and initiatives, including cleanliness standards, property layouts, financial targets, staff development, and the implementation of companywide initiatives. Operational Excellence: Continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and reporting. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner closely with department heads to ensure clear communication and alignment across the organization. Reporting: Produce accurate and timely reports on operations, utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Conflict Resolution: Address sensitive inquiries or complaints with discretion and professionalism. Problem Solving: Identify issues, gather data, and provide valid recommendations, conclusions, and solutions. Prioritization: Ensure clear communication of priorities to direct reports and verify completion. Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performance management team while fostering an accountable environment. Representation: Act as a representative of InTown Suites with clients, investors, and business partners. Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality. Experience: At least 8-12 years of robust operational experience with a minimum of 5 years in senior management. Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to lead strategically. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of achieving results. Financial Acumen: Proficient in operational and financial planning and analysis. Management Skills: Strong background in organizational development, personnel management, budgeting, and strategic planning. Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Analytical: Ability to interpret complex documents and execute strategies. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent people skills with a talent for collaborating with a dynamic leadership team. Integrity: Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the corporate mission. Adaptability: Flexibility to thrive in an evolving environment and multitask effectively. Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Preferred Skills/Credentials/Experience/Education:

Advanced Degree: Master's degree in business or hospitality. Experience: Preferably 10+ years of strong operational experience in a senior management role. Mental and Physical Demands:

Physical Demands: Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds. Visual abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus. Travel Requirements: Capable of traveling to all properties via car or plane approximately 75% - 80% of the time, often overnight. Work Conditions: May experience mental and visual fatigue due to sustained concentration, computer work, pressure of deadlines, and interruptions. Regular verbal communication and interpretation are required. Regular and punctual attendance is essential. Additional Abilities: Manage high-stress situations, multitask, and prioritize effectively. Deescalate issues with projects and team members. Make sound, clear, and concise decisions.
