Palo Alto Networks is scaling its world-class strategy organization and looking for its next senior leaders in the area of security services. Though our security services are successful both in the market as well as at preventing attackers, the landscape is continually changing and in need of innovation leadership.
The Palo Alto Networks transformation function is a focused team that works on our most mission-critical business challenges to drive and support our industry-leading growth. As a Principal, Transformation, your efforts will directly impact the overall transformation and success of a world-leading cybersecurity business. You will collaborate on complex business and technology problems that are top-of-mind for our executives. You possess a unique blend of business insight, business strategy experience, big-picture thinking, influencing skills and ability to collaborate with a large number of constituents within Palo Alto Networks.
Your Impact
Structure and break down complex business problems, develop a hypothesis, drive analysis and deliver recommendations Develop and present high-quality recommendation and deliverables (PPT, Word, etc.) for executive level consumption Pressure test current processes and use first principles to design future state business processes to create operational efficiencies Structure and bite size large complex projects into an executable plan Work collaboratively across a cross-functional set of stakeholders to gather the right information, pressure test your hypothesis, co-create deliverables, accelerate execution and unlock value Drive change across the organization and be willing to wear multiple hats (strategy development, project management and execution) to do it what it takes to “move the needle” Provide coaching and mentoring to leads and associates on the team and take personal interest in their growth in the organization
Qualifications
Your Experience
4+ years relevant work experience in tech with at least 2 years in consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, PwC, Deloitte etc.), private equity or top-tier tech strategy or “bizops” functions (Google, Facebook, Amazon, etc.) Effective verbal and written communication ability and comfort with both business and technical discussions with senior audiences Experience in building relationships and leading through influence Experience managing projects and large-scale transformations Great teammate, willing to passionately roll up their sleeves and work cross-functionally to get things done Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments with minimal supervision Ability to deal with ambiguity and deal with changing priorities Expertise in the Enterprise technology industry is a must, knowledge of cybersecurity industry is a plus but not required

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $253000 - $346500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
