Guardian Capital Security is seeking an experienced security officer to work Midnight to 8 AM shifts (Tuesday - Saturday).
Responsibilities include:
1. Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols at designated intervals.
2. Ensure all areas are checked, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and common areas.
3. Visitor Monitoring: Verify all visitors upon entry; no guests are allowed after 10 PM.
4. Maintain a log of all visitors, including time of entry and exit.
5. Ensure visitors are escorted to their destinations when necessary.
6. CCTV Monitoring: Continuously monitor CCTV feeds for unusual activity or potential security breaches.
7. Document any incidents observed on CCTV and report them to the appropriate authorities.
8. Ensure all cameras are functioning properly and report any malfunctions immediately.
9. Incident Response: Be prepared to respond to any suspicious behavior or incidents as per the established protocols.
10. Contact local law enforcement if a situation escalates or if there is a threat to safety.
11. Reporting: Complete an end-of-shift report detailing patrols, visitor interactions, and any incidents or anomalies observed.
12. Submit reports to the security supervisor for review.
13. Training: Regularly participate in training sessions regarding security protocols and emergency response procedures.
14. Stay updated on any changes to security policies or procedures.
Compensation is $18 with the potential for overtime pay.
