The Routing Director (Pacific states) will play a key role in Imperial Dade’s success by ensuring routing optimization and integrity across our multiple-site distribution network. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of inventory routing best practices, transportation experience and a passion for supply chain analytics and KPIs. Salary:
$120,000 - $130,000/yr. Imperial Dade is the leading independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies in North America. All correspondence will come directly from Imperial Dade and not a personal email address. Responsibilities:
You will: Standardize routing methodology across all Pacific state branches. Build Roadnet depth and coverage. Escalate safety compliance issues to branch/regional management. Ensure key routing data is being maintained daily. Produce daily fleet utilization KPIs. Identify and implement fleet optimization opportunities across the region. Monitor all 3PL freight spent for Pacific state locations. Implement transportation and routing best practices across the region. Qualifications:
You have: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years' experience of Roadnet experience preferred. Background in multi-node distribution preferred. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required. Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to fifty pounds. Must be able to work in a standing and/or walking position for extended periods of time. Must be able to travel and drive long distances (other sites as needed for project work, vendor sites for streamlining initiatives).
