COMPANY SUMMARY
EngenderHealth (EH) envisions a gender-equal world where all people achieve their sexual and reproductive health and rights. We believe this is essential for ensuring all people can attain their full potential. To realize this vision, we implement high-quality, gender-equitable programs that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights.
EngenderHealth is a global health non-profit organization with expertise in family planning, sexual and reproductive health, maternal health, gender equality, and gender-based violence prevention and response. We partner with host country governments to expand access to high-quality health services for their populations and support data-driven policy decisions. We collaborate with local civil society organizations to prioritize health, reproductive rights, and inclusive systems and services. We bring over 50 years of experience working in some of the most disadvantaged and underserved communities across more than 100 countries. Today, we have a presence in 12 countries in Africa and Asia, where we have deep, long-standing connections with local organizations, government institutions, and healthcare providers.

This five-year, $89.8 million initiative, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), aims to transform family planning and reproductive health (FP/RH) services across select low- and middle-income countries. EngenderHealth will lead a diverse consortium of global and local partners, including the International Rescue Committee; Matchboxology, based in South Africa; Restless Development; Samasha Medical Foundation, based in Uganda; and YLabs; along with resource partners African Disability Forum, based in Ethiopia; African Population and Health Research Center, based in Kenya and Senegal; Deloitte Consulting Limited, Tanzania; Faith to Action Network, based in Kenya; the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics; and ThinkWell.
