Dispatch/Logistics Coordinator
Current Openings: Afternoon and Overnight shifts
Golden Limousine, Inc. is in search of a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Dispatcher/Logistic Coordinator. In this pivotal role within our organization, you will play a fundamental part in overseeing our chauffeurs and ensuring the seamless transportation of our esteemed passengers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Chauffeurs: Ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers by providing guidance and oversight to our chauffeurs.
- Decision-Making: Exercise independent judgment and discretion to evaluate options and make necessary decisions as they arise.
- Trip Assignments: Allocate new trips to chauffeurs as they are entered into our system, optimizing scheduling and efficiency.
- Reservation Management: Enter new reservations received through various channels such as email, telephone, and Internet portals, maintaining accurate records.
- Dispatch Software: Utilize our proprietary software program for efficient dispatch and logistics operations.
- Exceptional Communication: Maintain excellent communication skills, ensuring a pleasant and friendly experience for our passengers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, embodying a helpful demeanor and ensuring passenger satisfaction.
- Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of dispatch and logistics.
- Log Keeping: Maintain a daily log of events, including vehicle statuses and incident reports during shifts.
- Effective Collaboration: Interact effectively with chauffeurs and office personnel during shift hours, fostering a cooperative environment.
Qualifications:
- Computer Proficiency: Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Google Search, and mapping programs.
- Data Entry Skills: Strong keyboarding skills to efficiently manage data entry tasks.
- Leadership Abilities: Leadership capabilities are a plus, demonstrating your ability to take charge and guide a team effectively.
- Decision-Making Skills: Proven ability to make sound judgment calls in time-sensitive situations.
- Calm Under Pressure: Aptitude for remaining composed in high-pressure scenarios.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliability: Possession of reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
- Availability: Open availability is highly desirable, as our operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
