MISS: Project Logistics and Property Manager (Contingency Hire) Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR! PROGRAM SUMMARY: The MISS program is a comprehensive initiative aimed at supporting the US Department of State’s operations in Iraq. KBR will provide ongoing base operations and Life Support Services, along with differentiated advisory and consultancy capabilities to the Iraqi Government. POSITION SUMMARY: The Project Logistics and Property Manager will work onsite at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and is responsible for the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment. Serves as a technical advisor on all property management issues. Please note: This position is located in Baghdad, Iraq and is contingent on award. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain a safe workplace and ensure safety is the highest priority. Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements. Provide information and materials to ensure adequate documentation. Manage, monitor, and track property based on site location, type, and usage. Maintain an accurate inventory of all property. Update property records. Act as the principal property management representative. Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs. Manage property staff. Inspect property to ensure compliance with safety policies. Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers. Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements. Plan and manage projects. Control resources and monitor staff proficiency. Resolve property issues. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: US Citizen US Passport with minimum one plus year validity remaining. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen. Possess a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance or be able to obtain it prior to hire. Effective communication skills (written/verbal) with problem resolution abilities. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Public Administration, or similar discipline, or at least ten (10) years of direct experience in property and logistics management. Five (5) years of property and logistics management experience. Intermediate level certification from a reputable organization (e.g., CPPA from NPMA). Relevant overseas property management experience. Previous international experience and work in harsh environmental conditions. Experience working within government contracts.
