KBR’s Hemisphere program is seeking candidates with program management experience to include management of planning, programming, budgeting, and execution of funds for DoD ACAT-like systems. Successful applicants will have varying levels of experience and backgrounds to support the U.S. Space Force’s mission of delivering warfighter capability within financial budgets and schedule constraints. Positions are available in El Segundo, California. KBR Hemisphere team members provide systems acquisition and program management support on various development programs that are intended to protect and defend the Nation's most valuable space assets. Our team is at the forefront of advising and assisting the Government throughout the full lifecycle of systems acquisition processes that enable rapid fielding of complex systems to meet warfighter needs. Responsibilities include:

Serve as primary financial and programmatic trusted advisor to Government Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting and execution. Deliver continuous proactive support to Government Program/Project Managers throughout full financial lifecycle and applying expertise ensuring compliance to all operating financial controls and adherence to regulations and policies. Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate, and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings. Develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings. Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping. Provide technical and programmatic assessments of development contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks, and issues--including the ability to achieve mission requirements. Provide program element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist Government customers regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures, as well as drafting and supporting delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports. Qualifications

Required: Master’s degree in related field (program management, accounting, finance) or MBA with 10 years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs. Proficient with Department of Defense Major Capability Acquisition System process, Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System process, Planning, Programing, Budget and Execution process, and/or experience in the National Security Space and the Space Control mission area. Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal). Fluent in all contract types (Firm Fixed Price, T&M, IDIQ, CPIF, etc.). Attention to detail, specifically in contracting language. Experience with diverse set of financial and programmatic management tools. Collaborative with multi-disciplined engineering team and ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with Government Program Finance teams. Active TS SCI clearance. Amenable to Special Access Programs nomination(s). Desired Skills: PMI PMP Professional certification. Experience with analyzing and aggregating large programmatic and financial data for program metrics to drive speed in agile acquisition processes. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
