Who You AreThe ideal candidate will guide the development and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation of the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program. You will lead and coordinate the evaluation program per established timelines, collaborating with team members to ensure all deliverables are on time.
How You Will Make An ImpactYou will play a critical role in advancing the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program, directly influencing climate adaptation and resilience within Native Hawaiian communities. This role is pivotal in shaping a sustainable and adaptive future, fostering community empowerment, and promoting collaborative, data-driven climate solutions that honor and uphold Native Hawaiian cultural values.
Responsibilities
Lead and/or participate in meetings and site visits with Native Hawaiian Organizations (NHOs) and other stakeholders.
Lead report development (e.g., Evaluation Design Report, Baseline Report).
Lead the development and implementation of monitoring and evaluation of the Kapapahuliau Climate Resilience Program.
Oversee baseline data collection (including pilot testing of data collection approach).
Collaborate with project team and client to ensure effective project management and coordination.
Here's What You Need
This role has the ability to be remote, however, residency in Honolulu is required.
Strong Project Management skills.
Experience in climate change adaptation and resilience, with a focus on program evaluation and monitoring.
Experience working with Native Hawaiian Organizations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Advanced skillset in time management and task prioritization.
Cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
