We are an equal opportunity employer making decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, veteran status, disability, or any other protected class.Responsibilities:Communicating defects and potential workarounds to developers and other team members not familiar with Section 508Provide guidance as needed for the 508 AnalystDeveloping web pages and necessary frameworks based on web designs using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP, etc.Web programming and development for federal requirements including 508 compliance and SCORM conformancePreparing test plans and test case scenarios associated with accessibility standardsConducting Section 508 testing via manual reviews, automated test tools and assistive technologiesEducation, Degrees, and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldMinimum Requirements:4 years of experience using JAWS, Dragon, Zoom Text, or similar software for 508 testingExperience with accessibility testing methodologies (manual and assistive technology tools)Experience with screen reader, screen magnifier and voice command softwareExperience with UX design regarding Section 508 and UsabilityAbility to create or alter testing protocols to align with business requirements and Reusable Program Level requirements (RPLRS) and business requirements WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria and best practice guidelinesFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesPreferred:Active IRS MBI ClearanceLocation:This position is hybrid, based in Lanham, Maryland.
