Job Description
Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are hiring immediately for an experienced Plant Manager for its envelope manufacturing facility in Dallas, TX.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of leadership experience in a production environment.

Job Summary
Directs the manufacturing, maintenance, warehousing and distribution operations to achieve plant production goals and efficiency measurements. Ensures compliance with all government regulations and corporate policies concerning safety, environment and employee relations.
The Plant Manager serves as a liaison between sales, clients, account teams and production functions with overall responsibility for all internal production operations, including efficient assignment of all line employees, the interrelation of departments of efficient workflow and the efficient accomplishment of schedules and job plans.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

- Creates/Maintains an environment team members can efficiently utilize their skills, fulfill their responsibilities and maximize their potential.
- Monitors, trains and communicates safety and quality programs and ensures compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Develops and monitors the repair and preventive maintenance programs for equipment to achieve maximum running speeds while safeguarding corporate assets.
- Directs the efforts of plant supervision to enforce consistent application of policies, procedures, and plant rules which may include the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.
- Collaborate with sales to improve/modify products if needed along with new product development
- Ensure work in process is checked regularly by operations teams to ensure it conforms to instructions, best practices and production and quality standards.
- Stay abreast of new trends and developments in methods, techniques, other to improve efficiencies
- Key focus areas include safety, quality, productivity (waste, labor, machine speeds), cost savings, and organizational effectiveness.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions
Includes functions which are normally performed by persons holding this title. However, these functions may be reassigned to other employees as part of a “Reasonable Accommodation” under the ADA.

Job Requirements
- Minimum education requirement: Relevant college coursework / Associate degree; Bachelor's degree in business management, business, or related field preferred
- Typically possesses 10 years of related work experience, with at least 5 years’ experience in managing teams or projects.
- Requires advanced technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines and processes.
- Extensive experience Environmental, Health, & Safety experience.
- Comprehensive experience in manufacturing is required.
- Experience in envelope, printing or packaging is highly preferred.
- Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office, Internet and Hagen
- Excels in interpersonal communication and written communication
- Ability to work independently and with others, demonstrate analytical abilities, and be a strong and versatile leader.
- Must be a self-starter and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Proven ability to perform work that is complex and varied in nature.
- Defines and discerns key aspects of problem and develops an integrated solution within a broad technical and business context of significant impact.
- Provide guidance/training to personnel as needed
- May occasionally be required to travel.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- Frequent exposure to manufacturing environment with one or more unpleasant or hazardous conditions including but not limited to exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels, chemicals, etc.
- Regularly required to use color vision; walk the production floor for periods of time.
- Occasionally required to lift up to 50lbs, grasp, reach, carry and use manual dexterity.
