95-105KKey Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Development and Process Optimization:
  • Oversees system and method development, testing, and improvement, including automation, and equipment optimization.
  • Ensures relevance and implementation of standard operating procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Engages with vendors to define specifications, arrange purchases, and assess product quality and compliance.
  1. Collaboration and Capacity Planning:
  • Collaborates with management, engineering, and other departments to align production capabilities and schedules.
  • Uses statistical methods to forecast manufacturing requirements and assess equipment maintenance needs.
  • Evaluates labor costs and optimizes workflow, staffing, and space to increase efficiency and manage bottlenecks.
  1. Performance Metrics and Process Improvement:
  • Tracks metrics for efficiency and productivity, driving improvements as necessary.
  • Evaluates capacity and resources to meet demand and implements design and process improvements to minimize costs and lead times.
  1. Compliance and Policy:
  • Ensures manufacturing processes adhere to government regulations and proposes new policies as needed.
  • Conducts training, documents practices, and performs post-audit compliance assessments.
  1. Design and Coordination:
  • Engages in 3D CAD design and oversees tooling and fixture commissioning.
  1. Interpersonal Skills and Work Environment Adaptability:
  • Maintains professionalism and teamwork in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, and adapts to concurrent tasks and role interchanges.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 8+ years in a manufacturing environment.
