This role is for a highly motivated professional who is ready to take on challenging and exciting tasks in the engineering industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing systems and processes, utilizing their knowledge in product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards. This role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role and a strong background in reading drawings and managing Capital Projects. Responsibilities 1. Develop, implement, and monitor manufacturing plans and processes for the production of products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. 2. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports and implement them in manufacturing processes. 3. Oversee Capital Projects, including the planning, execution, and completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 4. Collaborate with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues, improve product quality, and implement new products. 5. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. 6. Evaluate and suggest recommendations on the manufacturing quality control processes, types of manufacturing methods to be adopted, list of processes to be followed, tooling, and design equipment. 7. Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times. 8. Stay informed on the latest manufacturing technologies and systems and implement them as needed. Qualifications 1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role. 3. Proven experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and managing Capital Projects. 4. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. 5. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead a project from conception to completion. 6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. 7. Proficient in CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office Suite. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9.
