Routing sheets show machining centers, time estimates, inspection points, and tooling when necessaryPerforms root cause analysis on deviant material and implement solutions to eliminate future occurrencesManages projects related to manufacturing, process improvement, engineering changes, and root cause analysisDevelops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and processes, including selection of tooling and NC programming and Kaizen eventsProcesses engineering changesDesigns tooling, fixtures, and gages necessary to perform machining operations and in-process inspectionDevelops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, including selection of tooling and NC programmingConfers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methodsConfers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standardsEstimates production times and related costs to provide information for management decisionsConfers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities and other considerations to facilitate production processesApplies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potentialRequirements Bachelors Degree in EngineeringMinimum of 5 years experience in manufacturingCompetent in core manufacturing processesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage change
