We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generates routing sheets showing operations necessary for the fabrication of products in response to sales orders. Routing sheets show machining centers, time estimates, inspection points, and tooling when necessary
• Performs root cause analysis on deviant material and implement solutions to eliminate future occurrences
• Manages projects related to manufacturing, process improvement, engineering changes, and root cause analysis
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods and processes, including selection of tooling and NC programming and Kaizen events
• Processes engineering changes
• Designs tooling, fixtures, and gages necessary to perform machining operations and in-process inspection
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods, including selection of tooling and NC programming
• Confers with planning and design staff concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods
• Confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to specifications and quality standards
• Estimates production times and related costs to provide information for management decisions
• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities and other considerations to facilitate production processes
• Applies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing
• Competent in core manufacturing processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage change
