Job Title:
Manufacturing Engineer, Full-time (M-F, 8:00 am-5:00 pm)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and driven Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for developing, improving, and implementing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical manufacturing and a passion for innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency and product quality.
- Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to improve throughput.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless production operations.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues related to equipment, materials, and processes.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies and equipment to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks including Sheet Metal, Weldments, Surfacing, and Simulation modules
- Work with the team to develop and fabricate initial components
- Work efficiently with the team and autonomously
- Work with the Designer and Fabricator to build prototypes
- Development of the electric powertrain and safety systems
- Daily and weekly Vertical Value Stream meetings to stay on task
- Cleaning work areas
- Assist in the development of the manufacturing assembly line
Minimum Qualifications:
- High attention to detail
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Friendly, punctual, reliable, and a positive attitude

- Come up with improvements, eliminate waste in your area, and video before and after
- Keep the area clean and have an organized work environment
- Ability to lift & carry 50 pounds
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in automotive engineering
Required Preparation for Employment:
- Listen to 2 Second Lean: https://paulakers.net/books/2-second-lean within the first week of employment
- Able to use common hand tools and power tools (e.g., drills, wrenches, clamps, etc.)
- Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility
- Required to be able to read documents and prints and specifications
Salary: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
