About The RoleSeegrid currently has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly, testing and troubleshooting of various electrical/mechanical assembliesResponsibilities Include:Integrate components to industrial trucks and verify operation to specificationsAssemble, test and calibrate electronic components for manufacturingAssemble and verify engineering changes and prototypesAssist with set up and maintenance of assembly, test systems and processesCalibrate and maintain calibration and test equipment used in manufacturingDocument work activities and resultsDesirable Qualifications:Experience with PCB assembly and testingAbility to read and follow assembly and test instructions and proceduresAbility to perform light and heavy mechanical and electrical assembliesUnderstanding operations and assembly of electrical (AC and DC) systemsKnowledge of cables, harnesses' fabrication and system's wiringKnowledge of electronic, electrical and mechanical components and functionalityCurrent driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include shift work, overtime and possibly weekend work.Good written and verbal communication skillsTwo year technical degree or 5-6 years' experience in manufacturing environmentStrong work ethicFlexible and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environmentHands on, quality conscious and customer focusedComputer literateSoldering certification to IPC standards preferredExperience configuring electromechanical systems, to include loading of software/firmware, preferredAbility to travel occasionally (<10%) preferredSeegrid has been recognized nationally as a Best-Place-to-Work.
