What You'll Do:
- Manage all aspects of packaging projects, including design, testing, material selection, and equipment efficiency improvements.
- Lead the packaging development process from concept to execution and launch.
- Identify packaging trends and develop new concepts for retail, Club, and alternate channels.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and explore innovative processes to enhance plant operations.
- Identify and validate cost savings and sustainability opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering groups and stakeholders to introduce new equipment and technologies.
- Partner with R&D, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Sales on projects.
- Assist in the technology transfer process to operations.
- Organize and supervise tests at production facilities.
- Provide support for new product start-ups.
- B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Packaging Engineering or a related field; some packaging experience is desirable.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment; experience in food production or other CPG environments is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed (approximately 5%-10%).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Creative, innovative thinker with solid problem-solving abilities.
