Amotec is currently recruiting Manufacturing Associates in the Akron Ohio area. The roles are with our Client, a leader in the Porcelain and Plastics Industry. In this role you will be trimming porcelain or plastic parts before placing them into boxes that will then be packaged for shipment. We have openings on all three shifts.
This role offers:
Pay: $15.47/hr. (Pay increase after short probationary period)
Shift: 1st / 7:30a-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
2nd shift 3:30pm to 11:30pm (Shift difference in pay)
3rd shift 11:30pm to 7:30am (Shift difference in pay)
Lunch: 30 Minutes

Responsibilities:
Handle and trim various types of plastic & porcelain products.
Operate hydraulic or injection press per instructions. (Extremely easy machine to operate)
Inspects parts for visible defects or flaws
Use various hand tools such as files or other finishing equipment to trim and finish parts
Assembly and packaging
Keep a clean and pleasant work environment.
Experience:
Previous factory work experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training. High School Diploma, GED or the ability to pass a reading, writing and math skills test.
A great attitude and pleasant demeanor will open this door for you!
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and a pre-employment background check. .
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and or be on your feet for 7.5 hours or more.
Good vision, correctable with glasses.
Work in a hot/cold environment.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. - at least 5% of time. Most individual parts weigh less than 1 lb.
