EPITEC is hiring: Manufacturing Engineer in Dearborn

Position Description:
- Manage all A/E firm design work and schedule for tooling support steel and concrete pit engineering.
- Develop the Facility Section to include the overall PF100 and PF200, reference documents, and set up of SharePoint for contractor bid document storage.
- Coordinate the Installation Bid Package:
- Obtaining all functional leads to compile into an overall bid package.
- Coordination of the Detailed Equipment Descriptions, the individual Advanced Feasibility groups are to write their own respective tools and equipment.
- Work with Purchasing to determine contractor bid list.
- Organize contractor bid meetings.
- Receive and analyze installation bids, compare to cost study, and make recommendations to Program Implementation on contractor selection.
- Work with the individual Advanced Feasibility group for this analysis, but the individual groups shall analyze their own costs.
- Generate and track Purchase Orders to release date per the Master Schedule.
Skills Required:
- Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD software for plant layout
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Office software applications; i.e., MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Basic working knowledge of MS Project planning software for execution of manufacturing equipment and building system projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective listening and feedback
- Ability to work independently, in a team environment, with minimal supervision

Experience Required:
- Experience with large scale large scale industrial facilities
Experience Preferred:
- Automotive manufacturing experience
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Education Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical or equivalent engineering discipline
Additional Safety Training/Licensing/Personal Protection Requirements: Additional Information :
- Extended travel to US, Canada, and/or Mexico assembly plants required.
- Hybrid (mix of remote and onsite work).
