MK Services in Middleton, MA is rapidly growing and looking to add a Manufacturing Process Engineer to our team! Our company is a precision machine job shop working within industries such as Aerospace, Defense, and Medical. 

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems, with a focus on enhanced efficiency and quality. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards

Key Responsibilities
Process Design and Optimization:
  •  Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
  •  Design and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  •  Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for simulation and process design.
Project Management:
  •  Lead and coordinate process improvement projects.
  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  •  Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Quality Control:
  •  Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product consistency.
  •  Conduct tests and evaluations on product designs and manufacturing processes.
  •  Maintain detailed records of quality metrics and process changes.
Compliance and Safety:
  •  Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  •  Investigate and troubleshoot any issues related to processes, procedures, and operations.
  •  Prepare reports and present results to management and other stakeholders.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Education:
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  •  Additional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies are highly desirable.
Experience:
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering.
  •  Experience in the aerospace and defense industry is preferred.
Skills:
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  •  Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools.
  •  Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  •  Knowledge of IT systems and their application in manufacturing.
