Our company is a precision machine job shop working within industries such as Aerospace, Defense, and Medical. The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems, with a focus on enhanced efficiency and quality. This role involves leading process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standardsKey ResponsibilitiesProcess Design and Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement. Design and implement new processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software for simulation and process design.Project Management: Lead and coordinate process improvement projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure product consistency. Conduct tests and evaluations on product designs and manufacturing processes. Maintain detailed records of quality metrics and process changes.Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. Investigate and troubleshoot any issues related to processes, procedures, and operations. Prepare reports and present results to management and other stakeholders.Skills Knowledge and ExpertiseEducation: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies are highly desirable.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering. Experience in the aerospace and defense industry is preferred.Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in CAD software and process simulation tools.
