Swoon is hiring: Project Manager - Manufacturing & Supply Chain in Lafayette

Our client is a Fortune 100 company & the world's largest manufacturer of construction equipment.

TITLE: Project Manager - Manufacturing & Supply Chain

POSITION: Contract, 12mos

LOCATION: Lafayette, IN - onsite

AUTHORIZATION: W-2 or C2C

RATE: $24-27ph W2 + Benefits / $30ph+ C2C or Self Corp

*Rate fluctuates depending on experience & overall fit

**Required: - Bachelor’s degree in business administration to a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience supervising or managing employees in a warehouse or industrial setting; will consider internships as experience

**Desired Skills: - Microsoft Excel Intermediate to Advanced skill (must be able to use referential formulas such as VLookup). Be able to use Excel to create work templates.
- Microsoft PowerPoint experience
- Excellent spelling & grammar
- Excellent typing skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license

**Soft Skills: - Self-starter
- Demonstrates excellent decision-making ability
- Able to sit in on a meeting and take thorough notes
- Able to work with all levels of employee’s and management from diverse backgrounds
- Must communicate professionally when speaking with suppliers to Caterpillar
- Knows when they can make decisions on their own, or when they need to escalate to their manager
- Well-organized
- Able to prioritize tasks and direct other’s work to meet deadlines
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience
- Basic warehouse or industrial supply chain experience

** project management for tool crib at Lafayette; using reports- how to optimize storage for parts, helping crib team, directing crib team for tasks; strong in excel (pivot tables, vlookups, data sets 30,000+), SQL or Microsoft power query or power BI; 60-70% at desk, 30-40% on shop floor helping crib attendants executing projects; will be day to day tasks aside from projects; only travel to warehouses (5-10 minutes away); NO REMOTE OPTION; must have interpersonal skills, ability to lead others, presentation skills; will consider internships as experience; will be times they could be asked to drive a forklift- certification required; top 3 skills- excel experience with large amounts of data, management experience, strong soft skills, project management and execution; education- bachelor’s is required;
